Music, like many other activities, requires time and consistency to achieve acceptable results. You need to practice every single day to improve your skills, just as in the gym muscles do not grow after an hour of weights, but take months of hard and intense work.
This is the premise behind the new song by singer-songwriter Kat Reinhert, who returns to the music scene with her latest single, entitled "I Wanna be like Steve Martin , which she took as inspiration to improve her tenacity and consistency in practicing the guitar.
The song, available on all streaming platforms since June 28, is a very nice pop folk ballad, light
but with an important moral.
The sound is compact and the arrangement also features the Banjo, Steve Martin's representative instrument, for a result that involves the listener and intrigues from the first notes.
You too should not be left out, to improve your music listening skills you must listen to Kat at least one hour a day!

Kat Reinhert’
s newest single,
"Paris in the Snow,
"
marks an evocative leap in her artistic evolution.
Drawing from her jazz and folk roots while weaving in elements of singer-songwriter vulnerability,

—even when that world feels sti ing.
Opening with understated yet jazzy interplay between drums and guitar, the track gradually builds in

A radiant folk sounds emanates across “Runnin’,” a stellar new single from NYC-based singer/songwriter Kat Reinhert. The lyrical drive within celebrates a sense of renewal — “not running away, running toward something new,” — and feels poignantly reective of its time period, written during the pandemic. In particular, the track was inspired by the many people who looked to escape NYC during the pandemic, into more open spaces.
“Did you ever wanna leave the town that you’re in?” Reinhert asks pointedly, opening the track with an inviting call for change. Lush acoustics and sporadic guitar twangs melodically join alongside, driving seamlessly into the aforementioned chorus: “not running away.” The “it’s gonna be good,” optimism follows that embrace of nding something new, fully embracing change and one’s personal power to do so. “Runnin'” is a relatable, charming success from Kat Reinhert.

BUZZARTIST

New York City-based jazz singer-songwriter Kat Reinhert is no newcomer to the music industry: As a much sought-after music educator with one self-produced full-length record and two more on the way, Reinhert makes music for the soul; classy, colorful, and cozy.
On her upcoming album, Spark, releasing this August, Reinhert presents 13 instrumentally lush, vocally exquisite, lyrically moving tracks exuding with the gentlest production, allowing for tender treatment of the instruments, which are all so full in their own way. Opening track “Walk Into The Rain” is a bubbling, mellow song that highlights Reinhert’s gorgeous range and dabbles in coffee shop jazz while “Paper Bag” sounds like gears turning, with a unique pop-jazz rhythm and quizzical lyrics. The slightly haunting bossa nova “How Do You Know” launches at listeners with its moody instrumentation as lyrics like “Is love a verb or is love a word you must say?” make our heads spin in the best way. Including a special cover of Canadian rock band Rush’s hit song “Limelight”, Spark covers all the bases, providing twinkling classical melodies, poignant lyrics, and slick jazz rhythms.
Kat Reinhert proves on Spark that she is as versatile as she is signature, combining modern orchestral instrumentals with classical jazz influences, unafraid to experiment with tempo and song form, exhibiting a fearlessness that makes her music wonderfully one-of-a-kind.
